General Rental Questions
You must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid ID, and a major Credit Card.
All rental charges must be paid for in advance of your rental period. A deposit will be required in addition to the rental charges for certain pieces of equipment.
Yes, you may request an equipment reservation by clicking here or you may give us a call at any time. Full payment is required at the time of the reservation. In the event you need to cancel the reservation, you will be provided a full refund if the cancellation is made at least 48 hours in advance of the reservation date for Construction and General Tool Rental Equipment or at least 2 weeks in advance of the reservation date for Party and Event Rental Equipment. All cancellation requests need to be submitted to [email protected] or by clicking here.

***Please note for rental equipment that has been delivered, we will not pick-it up until you give us a call. A call-off number will be provided to you at the time of the call.***
The standard Delivery charge includes both Delivery and Pick-up to a job-site, loading dock, or curbside; set-up of the equipment is not included. At the time of Pick-up, the equipment must be in the location that it was dropped-off at or additional fees will be applied. Equipment such as but not limited to Scaffolding, Inflatable Games, Tables, and Chairs, etc. must be taken down and placed in the location that they were dropped-off at or additioanl fees will be applied.

Rental Charges are based on the time out, not the time used. The time charged will be from the time the equipment leaves to the time the equipment is returned.
We sure do! We offer a variety of rental periods; see below.
(Not all rates available on certain pieces of equipment)
4 Hour Rate - 4 consecutive hours during the business day (Maximum of 4 Hours accumulated on the meter)
Overnight Rate - Equipment rented Monday through Thursday after 3:00 PM and returned the following day by 9:00 AM will qualify for the Overnight Rate (Maximum of 4 Hours accumulated on the meter)
1 Day Rate - 24 Hour Rate (Maximum of 8 Hours accumulated on the meter)
1 Week Rate - (Maximum of 40 Hours accumulated on the meter)
4 Week Rate - (Maximum of 160 Hours accumulated on the meter)
Weekend Rate - Equipment picked-up after 3:00 PM on Friday and returned by 9:00 AM Monday will only be a 1-day rental charge. Maximum of 8 Hours accumulated on the meter to qualify for the Weekend Rate.
Overtime charges will be assessed if the equipment is used over the allotted hours. If you are using equipment double or triple shifts per day, please let us know.
While we continually strive to ensure your rental experience will be flawless, it happens, equipment does break down from time to time. In some cases, many problems, especially starting equipment can be resolved over the phone, just give us a call. In the case where the equipment is non-operational, we will exchange the equipment out and restart your rental time period.

Yes, all of our rental equipment is for sale. By constantly selling off our rental inventory, it allows us the ability to refresh our rental fleet with brand new rental equipment. The Damage Waiver is NOT insurance. In the event the equipment sustains damage/loss and we elect to repair/replace the equipment, the customer will not be responsible for additional rental charges or loss-of-use charges while equipment is being repaired or awaiting replacement. The customer shall remain responsible for all costs to repair or replace the equipment. Please see our Terms & Conditions for additional details.

Returning A Rental
No, rental equipment must be returned to the location that you picked it up from. This helps us ensure that we have the equipment at the right location for the next customer.
Due to a variety of reasons, we do not offer an after hours drop off location. Equipment must be returned during our normal business hours. The customer is responsible for the equipment until it has been checked back in by Black Hawk Rental staff.
Equipment will be rented to you clean and free of dirt and debris. It is expected that the equipment is returned in the same condition that you received it. Equipment that is returned dirty, is subject to a Cleaning Fee at an hourly rate of $100.00.
All of our equipment will be full of fuel prior to your rental period. For your convenience, Black Hawk Rental can refuel the equipment on-site for an additional charge; please call for our current fuel rates. If you choose to refuel the equipment, please carefully read the fuel type prior to refilling. If you are unsure of the type of fuel needed, please give us a call.
